Bajaj today unveiled two new entry level sports bikes at the auto expo. One is the Pulsar 400SS which is a faired 375 cc bike and another one is the CS400 which is the naked version of 400SS. If you haven’t read about 400SS faired version, check this article Bajaj Pulsar SS400. Pulsar CS400 has the exact specs and features of SS400 except the looks and head light designs. Both bikes will have a modified engine of KTM 390.Naked 400CS also looks similar to the KTM 390. In duke 390,the engine churns out a 44bhp of power & torque of 35Nm. So we can see expect similar power figures in the 400CS and SS400.
We have seen the designs of Hero’s HX250r, 2014 Karizma ZMR and 2014 Karizma R. They were looking worst than the previous Hero models. So by the launching of CS400 and SS400, the Hero bikes will probably fade out in the market. As said in last article, Pulsar 400CS and SS400 will be powered by a 375 cc liquid cooled engine. Engine will be mated to a six speed gearbox system. By the end of this month, Bajaj will probably announce the specifications and price of both bikes. We expect the bike to be priced below 1.7 lakh. Think of a 375cc engine with lots of power hidden in the fairy kit for this awesome price! Most of the Indian teenagers will surely go behind this ultimate entry level sports bike.
